Ben Yeager

I offer list development; advice for standardized testing; coordination of volunteer activities and ideas for a larger narrative; early application strategy; and management of the essay process, including brainstorming, writing, editing, polishing for submission and monitoring deadlines—in one holistic process designed to minimize student and parent stress.

Students have been accepted to Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, Duke, Vanderbilt, UC Berkeley, NYU, MIT,  Johns Hopkins, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and Wesleyan University, among dozens of others, including selective medical schools.

I’m a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Montana, where I taught composition classes and fiction workshops. I’ve worked for literary agencies and small publications, including Outside Magazine, a local newspaper in Alaska, and Yale Medicine Magazine.
